Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh Wait , where were the lions?

Lil Man's kindergarten class ventured out to the Jackson Zoo on Tuesday and he had a blast! The kids were separated into small groups and I had the joy of trying to wrangle a bunch of boys. The weather was perfect and aside from one little boy who constantly voiced his displeasure about the entire trip, it was a great day.

Duh, mommy!

Here's a snippet of a conversation with my 2 year old:

D: Mommy, I'm gonna fight you. (he's holding a stick)
Me: Oh really, is that your sword?
D: Nope.
Me: Ok, is that your light saber?
D: (in an exasperated tone) No mommy, it's just a stick!

At this point he just turned and walked away...guess I'm not that much fun to play with!
