What A Wonderful Day!

Aren't they sweet looking? All dressed for church, but I won't tell you that just a few minutes before I took this picture they were chasing each other around the house with swords pretending to be pirates. (Don't worry moms, the swords were plastic...as if DH would let them play with his real swords)

But I digress.....my point? Oh yes, my point! I wanted to wish you all a beautiful, blessed day!

We have company...

My boys are thrilled. Little Miss K is staying with us for a few days and the boys think she's the greatest. I haven't taken hardly any pictures since she got here but I'm not sure I would even if I had the time. There are toys everywhere. The boys insist on showing her everything they own. And believe it or not, they are all sharing very well. They even invited her to play lightsabers...I guess that makes her family now! :)

*sniff, sniff* A sad but proud mom moment...

My Little Man had his last day of kindergarten today. *sniff* And yes, I cried. I also almost made him and DH late this morning because I insisted on taking a picture (left). Where did my baby boy go?
He's so flippin smart, though. That kid has a head for logic which I will readily admit he did not get from me. That is all his daddy! But then again look at him, he is growing up to be a carbon copy of his dad.

















Just for a reference point, this is a picture (right) of Little Man on his first day of kindergarten. That boy has just stole my heart!

Is it that time already?

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. Yep, that's a potty! Sweet Baby D is taking the first steps towards potty training. We let him pick out his own potty and what little boy doesn't like frogs.

I'll be honest, I have been dragging my feet on this issue for a few months now. I know, most moms are anxious to quit using diapers but this is my BABY we are talking about people! I am having trouble accepting that he is really not a baby anymore. Reality stinks sometimes!

Just one of those days...

Have you ever felt like this? Just feel like taking a nap, didn't matter where you were....

Poor Baby D has been fighting a virus since Saturday. The virus caused ulcers (canker sores) to form in his mouth. We went out to dinner and he fell asleep right after we got our food. Hopefully he heals soon, the pain is making him miserable and I really miss my sweet baby!

End of the Year Preschool Program

Baby D recently participated in his pre-school's end of the year ceremony. His class was set to sing three songs. I would love to tell you that he sang every song, but no. I would love to tell you that he was the silly child who danced around the stage and made everyone laugh, but again no. My child did, however, stand quietly and give a blank stare to the crowd. I took many more pictures, but honestly they all look the same. I found out later from his teacher that he does indeed know all the words and hand motions to the songs. And to top it off, he sang one of the songs in the car on the way home from the school. Well I can console myself with one thing...atleast he wasn't one of the kids that had to be carried off the stage crying and screaming.

These precious boys make me thankful everyday and I am lucky to be called their mother.

Field Day

Thursday was field day at Little Man's school.
His team won all their events, except the tug of war.
